Art Deco diamond and synthetic sapphire ring. Set with five round old cut diamonds of varying sizes in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.30 carats, flanked by two triangular synthetic sapphires in open back rubover settings, to an octagonal cluster ring with intricate openwork, a geometrically pierced gallery and open backholing, flanked by split tri-part shoulders leading to a solid lightly rounded shank. Tested white gold and platinum, circa 1930.
