Art Nouveaudiamond and pearl ring. Set with two cushion shape old cutdiamonds in open backclaw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, and a round pearl between the two approximately 4mm in diameter, further set with a round old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.50 carats, to a stylised floral design in an openwork freefrom grooved design with curving claws, millegrain edging and open backholing, the sinuous shoulders tapering to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
