Description

Art Nouveau Burmese sapphire and diamond ring. Set with one central oval cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in a closed back rubover collet setting with an approximate weight of 10.00 carats, surrounded by openwork scrolling elements, and set to top and on one side with two silver fan forms set with ten round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate total weight of 0.10 carats, supported by a conforming finger gallery with pierced backholing and elegantly flanked by scrolling shoulders and on a tapered D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold with silver settings, English, circa 1900, accompanied by Gubelin Gem Lab report #20060102.
