Art Deco solitaire diamond ring with diamond set shoulders. Set with a round old cut diamond to centre in an open back claw setting with a weight of 0.83 carats, flanked by six horizontally set rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.13 carats, to a pierced scrolling openwork gallery with raised tapered stepped shoulders and intricate backholing, flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, numbered '0.83', circa 1930.
