Art Deco flanked solitaire diamond ring. Set to centre with a single oval old cut diamond, G colour, VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 1.64 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by eighteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.82 carats to a flanked solitaire with angular features, a structurally pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #5201360379.
