Art Deco sapphire and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set with a rectangular baguette cut natural unenhanced sapphire to centre in an open back half rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.30 carats, encircled by a cluster of thirty four round old single cut diamonds and to the shoulders, in open back grain settings with rubover borders and an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant openwork plaque form with pierced ornate gallery, open backholing and a solid flat tapered shank. Marked platinum, numbered '464', circa 1935.
