Description

Art Deco ruby and diamond ring. Horizontally set with an outward pointed drop shape natural unenhanced ruby with an approximate weight of 2.00 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two curving rows of channel set tapered rectangle baguette cut diamonds, fourteen in total with a combined weight of 1.00 carat in open back rubover settings, further flanked by twenty seven round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.10 carats to the curved shank and to the extending curved row. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.10 carats, all to a scrolled abstract form with geometric openwork and intricate backholing, leading to a solid D-shape tapered shank. Marked PT 950, circa 1935, accompanied by GPL report #07249.
