Art Deco pink Ceylon sapphire and diamond ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced pink Ceylon sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.90 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.32 carats, to a geometric solitaire design featuring corner claws, polished edges, an intricately pierced linear gallery and open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flowing to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78176-69.
