Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set centrally with one cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.20 carats, surrounded by two rows of twenty eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 2.80 carats. The total combined diamond weight is 4.00 carats, to an octagonal cluster design featuring millegrain details, an ornate openwork gallery and pierced open backholing, leading to raised ridged shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested platinum, circa 1935.
