Art Deco diamond engagement ring. Centrally set with a round old cut diamond in an open back four claw setting with a weight of 0.95 carats, set to either side with two rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.05 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.00 carats, to a structured circular collet with an open pierced gallery and geometric backholing, the raised inwardly tapering shoulders lead to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930.
