Art Deco diamond cluster ring. Set with a round old cut diamond to centre in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.65 carats, encircled by eighteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.45 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.10 carats, to an elegant cluster design featuring millegrain edging, an ornate petal motif pierced gallery and fancy shape open backholing, flanked by inwardly tapering shoulders flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925.
