Art Deco marquise diamond ring. Set to centre with a single marquise brilliant cut diamond, I colour, VS2 clarity, with an approximate weight of 2.18 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by six baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 2.78 carats, to an impressive flanked solitaire design with a geometrically pierced gallery and fancy open backholing, flowing through to stepped shoulders and a tapered D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1925, accompanied by Gemmological Institute of America (GIA) report #2203073869.
