Art Deco fancy light yellow diamond two stone ring. Set with one round old cut fancy light yellow diamond, VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 1.28 carats in an open backclaw setting, further set with one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.38 carats, decorated further with three rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back half rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.75 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 3.41 carats, to an impressive geometric two stone design featuring angular corner claws, a structurally pierced gallery and open rectangular backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid tapering shank. Marked 18 carat white gold, maker's mark for Gubelin , circa 1920, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #6173989928.
