Art Deco emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut natural Muzo emerald with no colour enhancement to centre in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.90 carats, flanked to top and bottom with two octagonal emerald-cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats, framed by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain set box collet settings with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by a cluster of twenty six round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate emerald weight is 1.10 carats, and the total approximate diamond weight is 1.10 carats, to a stepped heavy cluster form with geometric openwork gallery and pierced backholing, with broad tapering shoulders to a flat solid shank. Marked platinum, maker's mark 'PD', circa 1935.
