Art Deco emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut Muzo emerald to centre in a rub over setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked to top and bottom with two octagonal emerald-cut emeralds with an approximate combined weight of 0.20 carats in open back rubover settings, framed by two cushion shape old mine diamonds in open back grain set box collets with a combined weight of 0.50 carats, surrounded by a cluster of twenty six round rose cut diamonds in grain set scrolling step down settings with a combined weight of 0.60 carats. The total approximate emerald weight is 1.10 carats, to a stepped heavy cluster form with geometric openwork gallery and pierced backholing, with heavy tapering shoulders to a flat solid shank. Marked platinum, maker's mark 'PD', circa 1935.
