Art Deco emerald-cut solitaire diamond ring. Centrally set with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond, G colour, VS2 clarity with an approximate weight of 0.91 carats in an open back claw setting, flanked by two square step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.20 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.11 carats, to a geometric flanked solitaire design with curving claws, a linear openwork gallery and fancy open backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flow through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #2161870940.
