Art Deco emerald-cut diamond solitaire ring. Set to the centre with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond in an open back four claw setting with a weight of 0.50 carats, flanked to either side with four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.58 carats, to an elegant rectangular collet with an open structured gallery and geometric backholing, fitted to either side with trumpeting shoulders decorated with millegrain accents which smooth to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, circa 1930.
