Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with an octagonal emerald-cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.50 carats, flanked by four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.58 carats, to an elegant geometric flanked solitaire design featuring millegrain edging, an open structured gallery and open backholing, leading to trumpeting raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested platinum, English, circa 1930.
