Art Deco Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval cabochon natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 10.02 carats, flanked by eight tapered cabochon emeralds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carat, further adorned with eight round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.34 carats. The total approximate emerald weight is 11.02 carats, to an impressive cocktail ring design, featuring millegrain borders, a structured openwork gallery, and open shaped backholing, leading to slightly raised shoulders and flowing through to a grooved D-shape shank. Tested platinum, engraved to interior 'MDD to EPD', circa 1920, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #78157-24.
