Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, K colour, SI2 clarity, with a weight of 2.80 carats, in an open back fancy claw setting to a stylish intricately pierced square collet featuring four split curving claws, geometric open gallery and shaped open backholing, flanked to either side with open raised squared shoulders which terminate to recessed ribbed details and continue to a solid shank. Marked platinum, indistinct maker's mark, French, circa 1935, accompanied by Gemological Institute of America (GIA) report #7235051965
