Art Deco diamond solitaire engagement ring. Set to centre with a round old cut diamond, J colour, VS2 clarity in an open back raised claw illusion setting with an approximate weight of 1.82 carats, to a striking solitaire design featuring curving claws, an intricately pierced collet and round open backholing, flanked by slightly raised trumpeting split shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering shank. Marked platinum, indistinct makers mark, French, circa 1925, accompanied by a Gemological Institute of America report #2203048836.
