Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to the centre with one round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.05 carats, further set with four square step cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with a combined weight of 0.40 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.45 carats, to a bold flanked solitaire design with stylized claws, geometrically pierced gallery and fancy shaped backholing, flanked by split shoulders flowing through to a solid tapering shank. Marked platinum, French, circa 1930.
