Art Deco diamond and ruby target ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back rubover setting with a weight of 0.65 carats, encircled by fourteen calibre cut natural unenhanced rubies in open back channel settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.30 carats, surrounded by thirty round single cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.95 carats, to a stylish geometric cluster with decorative millgrain borders, pierced linear gallery and fancy shaped backholing, flanked by raised open shoulders which curve to a solid shank. Tested platinum, numbered '4821', English, circa 1920.
