Art Deco diamond flanked solitaire ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by four round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.75 carats, to a geometric flank solitaire design featuring split claws, a structurally pierced gallery with chenier detail and open backholing, leading to gently sloping shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930.
