Art Deco diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut diamond to centre in an open back double claw setting with a weight of 1.40 carats, flanked by four graduated round old cut diamonds in open back grain set box collet settings with a combined weight of 0.35 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.75 carats, to a step down form with an openwork gallery, intricate cheniers to the central collet and pierced backholing, flanked by gently sloping shoulders to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930.
