A matching pair, each set with a drop shape briolette cut natural amethyst in a closed back pin fitting, two in total with a combined approximate weight of 15.00 carats, further set with two round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings, four in total with a combined approximate weight of 0.44 carats, further decorated with fifteen round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings, thirty in total with a combined weight of 0.80 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.24 carats, to an articulated openwork drop earring, flowing with movement and featuring millegrain borders, chenier details to the gallery and open backholing, fitted to reverse with secure post and butterfly, approximately 4.2cm in length. Marked platinum, indistinct makers mark, circa 1925.
