Centrally set with a cushion shape cabochon natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 2.80 carats, to a bombé design with a smooth polished raised border and open backholing, the integrated tapering shoulders featuring a grooved detail, flowing to a solid shank. Marked platinum, French control marks, circa 1930, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79212-21.
