Art Deco Burmese Royal Blue sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Royal Blue Burmese sapphire in an open back four claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.76 carats, further set with twelve rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back channel and rubover settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to a structured geometric cluster design featuring, curving corner claws, an openwork gallery decorated with scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting split shoulders with cheniers flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked platinum, English, circa 1935, accompanied by Gem Research Swiss Lab (GRS) report #GRS2016-021499.
