Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring. Set with one central octagonal emerald-cut natural unenhanced sapphire in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, flanked by stepped shoulders set with six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover collet settings with an approximate total weight of 0.60 carats, to a geometric design, above an openwork gallery supported by cheniers with pierced backholing and on a D-shape shank. Marked platinum, circa 1930, accompanied by GPL report #05371.
