Art Decosapphire and diamond ring. Set with one central octagonal emerald-cutnatural unenhanced sapphire in an open backclaw setting with an approximate weight of 4.00 carats, flanked by six rectangular baguette cut diamonds in open back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.60 carats, to a geometric design featuring corner claws, a linear openwork gallery and pierced open backholing, leading to raised shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shapeshank. Markedplatinum, circa 1930, accompanied by Gem and Pearl Laboratory report #05371.
