Aquamarine and diamond cocktail ring. Set with a central rectangular emerald-cut natural aquamarine in an open back claw setting with an approximate total weight of 2.00 carats, flanked by twenty round old cut diamonds in open back grain settings with an approximate total weight of 0.80 carats, to a heavy set scrolling form with rounded shoulders, and a closed scalloped gallery with pierced backholing, tapering down to a solid flat shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, French, circa 1940.
