Antique tourmaline and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural green tourmaline in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 2.35 carats, encircled by a single row of eleven cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 2.20 carats, to an elegant cluster form with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular backholing, the slightly raised shoulders flowing down to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
