Description

Antique tourmaline and diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced green tourmaline with an approximate weight of 2.35 carats in an open back claw setting, encircled by a single row of eleven cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 2.20 carats, all to an elegant cluster form with intricate pierced claws and circular backholing, with a conforming finger gallery flowing down to a solid shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
