Centrally set with a cushion shape old cutnatural unenhanced Burmese red spinel in an open backgrain and claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.80 carats, flanked by two round old cut diamond in an open back grain and claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.70 carats, further set with six round rose cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.76 carats, to an ornate carved design featuring curving claws, an intricate carved gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy shape open backholing, leading to engravedshoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shapeshank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80262-83.
