Antique spinel and diamond three stone ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced spinel in an open back grain and claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.90 carats, flanked to either side by a round old cut diamond in an open back grain and claw setting with a combined weight of 0.70 carats, further set with six round rose cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.06 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.76 carats, to an ornate scrolling pierced half hoop, with fancy shaped backholing and carved shoulders, flowing down to a solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1900.
