Antique sapphire and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese sapphire in an open back claw and half rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carats, flanked to either side with two cushion shape old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.40 carats, to a graduating three stone design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular backholing, the trumpeting shoulders continue down to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold, maker's mark for Abraham Meyer Blanckensee, full English hallmark for Chester, circa 1903.
