Antique Burmese ruby and diamond three stone ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.00 carat, flanked by two round old cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.30 carats, to a three stone design with curving claws, an intricately pierced gallery and circular backholing, the slightly trumpeting shoulders flowing down to a solid tapered D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #79184-36.
