Set to centre with a round old cut diamond in an open backrubovermillegrain setting with a weight of 0.15 carats, surrounded by fourteen channel set calibre cut naturalrubies in open back rubover millegrain settings to a marquise shape with an approximate combined weight of 1.00 carat, further set with a frame of thirty cushion shape old single cutdiamonds in grain and rubover millegrain settings with a combined weight of 0.30 carats, and flanked on the shoulders with six cushion shape old single cut diamonds with a combined weight of 0.08 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.53 carats, to a marquise shape cluster with an ornate scrolling foliate gallery and intricate backholing, to fluted shoulders and a solid tapered lightly rounded shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold with platinum settings, circa 1905.
