Description

Antique ruby and diamond carved ring. Set with three cushion shape star top natural unenhanced rubies in open back claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.20 carats, set alternately with four round star top diamonds in open back claw and grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.15 carats, to a ornate linear cluster ring with intricately carved scrolling gallery, curving claws and finely pierced backholing, flanked to either side with trumpeting shoulders featuring decorative engraving which terminates to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat gold, maker's mark 'I.A & Co', numbered '5210', full English hallmarks for London, circa 1916.
