Antique emerald and diamond three row ring. Set horizontally with a row of five octagonal emerald-cut natural emeralds with no colour enhancement in open back cutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.50 carats, further set with eighteen round old cut diamonds in open back grain and cutdown settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.00 carats, to an elegant graduating openwork three row design with intricate pierced backholing, flanked by ornately carved shoulders of foliate composition and leading through to a solid tapering D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and silver, circa 1890.
