Antique diamond solitaire engagement ring. Centrally set with a cushion shape old mine diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.45 carats to an elegant square collet, finely pierced gallery with fancy shaped backholing, the slightly raised platinum shoulders set with delicate chenier detailing and terminating in a D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, English, circa 1905.
