Antique diamond snake ring. Set with two round old cut diamonds in open back grain and rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.40 carats, to a solid sinuous design composed from two coiled serpents, with subtle touches of engraving to the heads and with finely pierced circular backholing, terminating in a thick ridged shank. Marked 18 carat gold, maker's mark 'JMWL', full hallmarks for London, English, circa 1905.
