Victorian diamond coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cushion shape old mine cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 0.70 carats, encircled by a single row of eight cushion shape old mine cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 1.00 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.70 carats, to an ornate coronet cluster featuring carved scrolling motifs, polished edges and open backholing, leading to elegantly engraved shoulders and flowing through to a solid flat shank. Tested yellow gold, circa 1880.
