 Description

Antique diamond and enamel coronet cluster ring. Set to centre with a cluster of seven round old cut diamonds in open back grain and claw settings with a combined approximate weight of 1.10 carats, flanked by twenty eight round rose cut diamonds to three graduating rows in open back grain settings with a total weight of 0.50 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 1.60 carats, to a broad cluster with raised curving claws, bands of black enamel and fancy open backholing, the integrated shoulders tapering to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark 'W.Mc.G', circa 1890.
