Victorian cabochon garnet and diamond ring. Set with one central oval cabochon garnet in a claw setting with an approximate weight of 10.00 carats, further set with six round rose cut diamonds in bead settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.12 carats, to an angular cluster design featuring polished borders and corner claws, leading to smooth shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold and platinum, French, circa 1880.
