Antique Colombian emerald and diamond cluster ring. Centrally set with an oval old cut natural Colombian emerald with no colour enhancement and minor clarity enhancement in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, encircled by two rows of fifty six round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.56 carats, flanked with eighteen round eight cut diamonds in open back rubover grain settings with a combined weight of 0.18 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.74 carats, to an oval double row open work cluster design featuring subtle millegrain decoration, intricately pierced gallery with a floral pattern and geometric backholing, the diamond set Fleur-de-lis motif open shoulders terminate before leading to a smooth solid D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold and platinum, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #779200-71.
