Edwardian Burmese ruby and diamond ring. Set to centre with an oval old cut natural unenhanced Burmese ruby in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, encircled by two rows of round old cut diamonds, the inner row in open back claw settings and the outer row in open back grain and rubover settings, thirty eight in total with an approximate combined weight of 2.60 carats, to an ornate cluster design featuring intricate openwork, a polished gallery and pierced open backholing, leading down to smooth shoulders flowing through to a solid D-shape shank.
