Ancient Roman marriage ring. The centre enriched with a high relief iunctio dextrarum clasped hands (or fede) motif contained within an oval plaque with beaded border, proceeding to stepped trumpeting shoulders and terminating in a faceted flat shank, approximately 13g in weight. Tested silver, circa 2nd-3rd century AD.
