Ancient Roman gold intaglio ring. A yellow gold ring, finely engraved to the central plaque with the image of Minerva, the goddess of war and wisdom, with helmet and sword drawn, flanked by smoothly integrated broad solid shoulders and tapering down to a D-shape shank. Tested yellow gold, approximately 5.5g in weight, circa 2nd-4th century AD, accompanied by an Oxford Labs X-ray fluorescence analysis report stating the composition of the metal.

This ring is in fine condition with an attractive patina.
