A pair of vintagediamond rings. A set of two rings comprised of a solitaire engagement ring with a surrounding diamond coronet cluster ring. The solitaire engagement ring set to centre with a round transitional cut diamond in an open backclaw setting with a weight of 0.68 carats, to an elegant solitaire design featuring curving claws, an open gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth inwardly tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid shank. Marked 14 carat yellow gold, marked 'TRUBRITE', maker's mark, circa 1960. The surrounding cluster set with twenty eight round eight cutdiamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.60 carats, to a stylised floral cluster featuring polished edges, a structural openwork gallery and open backholing, leading to smooth split shoulders and flowing through to an openwork shank featuring three connecting bars. Marked 14 carat yellow gold, marked 'TRUBRITE', maker's mark 'M&M', French import mark for Lyon, circa 1960. The total approximate diamond weight for both rings is 1.28 carats.
