A smoothly conforming band, to the interior in italic script 'I doe reioyce in thee my choice.' , approximately 5.2mm in width and 1.8mm thick. yellow gold, makers mark 'TS' for Thomas Sharpe, a London based goldsmith known to work from 1654-1686, approximately 9.05 grams in weight, 17th century.

It is recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference DEV-2041B8; and disclaimed under the Treasure Act.
