Set with forty-four half pearls in closed backgrain settings, to a heart shaped locket design, featuring polished edges and closed backholing, hinged to the right and opens to display two glass compartments, fitted to top with a secure bale, and accompanied by a fine fancy link chain composed of a fine trace link chain with alternating sections of a solid interlocking link, pendant approximately 2.5 cm in length, chain approximately 19" in length. Pendant tested yellow gold, chain marked 18 carat gold, circa 1880, accompanied by antique box.
