Set to centre with a oval old cut natural no heat sapphire in an open back rubover setting with an approximate weight of 1.70 carats, surrounded by twenty round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined approximate weight of 0.45 carats, further flanked by four round eight cut diamonds in open back grain settings with a combined weight of 0.10 carats. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.53 carats, to an elegant coronet cluster design featuring intricate open work, millegrain edging and a finely decorated gallery the slightly raised shoulders with ridge detailing flowing through to a solid shank. Marked platinum, French, early 20th Century, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #5786-4056.
