Colombian emerald and diamond ring. Set with a cushion shape step cut natural insignificant to minor Colombian emerald in an open back claw setting with a weight of 1.51 carat, and further set with a round old cut diamond in an open back claw setting with an approximate weight of 1.50 carats, to an elegant crossover design featuring stylised claws, a pierced gallery and open backholing, leading to asymmetric shoulders which flow through to a solid shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1950, accompanied by American Gemological Laboratories (AGL) report #8093069.
