Burmese ruby five stone ring. Horizontally set with a graduated row of five cushion shape old cut natural no heat Burmese rubies in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 2.80 carats, further set with eight round rose cut diamonds in closed back rubover settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.08 carats, to an elegant five stone design with an intricately pierced gallery with scrolling motifs and fancy open backholing, flanked by trumpeting shoulders with ornate detail and leading through to a solid D-shape shank. Tested 18 carat yellow gold, circa 1900, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services (GCS) report #5786-2615.
