Edwardian ruby and diamond triple cluster ring. Set with three cushion shape old cut natural unenhanced Siam rubies in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 1.20 carats, surrounded by twenty four round eight cut diamonds in open back claw settings with an approximate combined weight of 0.75 carats, to an elegant triple cluster form featuring elaborately curving claws, a intricately pierced gallery and open backholing, flanked by smoothly conforming tapering shoulders and flowing through to a solid D-shape shank. Marked 18 carat yellow gold, maker's mark for Laurie & Lazarus, numbered '6764 7310', full hallmarks for Birmingham, English, circa 1905, accompanied by Gemmological Certification Services report #80264-11.

The ring is in excellent condition.
The first record of the firm of Laurie & Lazarus is in 1898, as china and glass agents located at Holborn Circus, London. In 1902 they registered as gold and silver workers with the Goldsmiths' Company. The partnership was subsequently disbanded in 1913.
